Ambit Solutions is a newly-established IT Training company which has recently re-located to Linlithgow. Founded by Lene Kruhoffer, Ambit Solutions offers flexible and tailored IT & Business training to companies and individuals, focusing on confidence building and increasing IT and business skills.

Lene, a native Danish speaker, has a degree with distinction in computing. She cut her working teeth in the legal/property sector, gaining solid administrative skills, before developing her career in IT and training. She has many years experience as an IT trainer, gained in the health and voluntary sectors, and prior to establishing Ambit Solutions was working for a leading UK software company as an applications specialist and IT trainer, specifically within the estate agency sector. In addition to her skills and experience, Lene is passionate about training and believes it is at the heart of how businesses not only survive but positively can thrive and grow to their full potential.
In the current economic climate, it makes a lot of sense for businesses to enhance the proficiency of their current staff. Recruiting staff is expensive and time consuming so, in addition to maximising and enhancing effectiveness in the workplace, training can also help to identify and develop a range of additional skills.

Lene says: “Most ‘temping agencies’ will hire out staff for full days only. We can offer much smaller slots – in effect a Pay-As-You-Go service. The minimum booking session is 2 hours and thereafter that you can add any number of hours suited to your needs. Especially with the holiday season coming up, we think this might be of interest to firms with small numbers of staff because continuity of business while people are away on holiday or otherwise absent is crucial.”
